Uncle Tom, so many memories. Patterson and Dick family camping in Spain, the Christmas gatherings, the Boxing Day rugby, the Triumph Stag and the Rolls. Always loved hearing the stories about Tom and my Dad in Iraq and the legendary Three Amigos road trip to Spain in the late 50’s. Later, Tom (and Susanne) were brilliant with Mum after Dad died - we are forever grateful for the support. Such a genial, genuine man whose laugh I can hear as I type. Rest in Peace Tom - a life well lived

For my dear father-in-law , Tom. Always a smile , always ready for a chat about what was going on for Steven and me in our lives, latest projects, how our 3 girls Anna, Lily and Grace were getting on at school ; how my family were doing in Derry & Donegal , always a special hello for my mum Mary and for my dear Granny Polly (who passed away in April 2021 in her 100th year) . Tom & Susanne warmly welcomed me into the Patterson Clan some 30 years ago - I have a special memory of Tom driving his lovely Rolls Royce classic car as our wedding car and taking me to the Chapel to marry Steven - a wonderful day 💕 Lots of family days, holidays and special celebrations over the years, so lucky to have shared those happy times together … and for all the grandchildren to enjoy Granny and Papa’s company too. Such fond memories of a talented, inspiring and generous person … your legacy will live on, Tom. A long life truly well lived 💕

Memories of Tom So many memories. First day in the office and such a friendly reception. Working together on water schemes in Co. Tyrone. Two near disasters. spinning on oil slick in his old Standard 8 but not hitting anything; almost capsizing Tigger in unexpected weather and wave change outside Porto Colom. A day at the Druids Glen in his lovely vintage Rolls Royce. Family Weddings. Bargaining for cheap Rolexes in Cala D'Or . Special price of 40 pesetas quoted but always bought for 10! His many visits and phone calls to me in the past year or two. Brother -in- law and much valued friend for nigh on 60 years. I will miss him greatly
